2008 Monsignor Barry Award
Each year the St. Coleman Mens Club awards a five hundred dollar scholarship prize to the best written essay by a Saint Coleman eighth grade graduate. This years topic for the 2008 Monsignor Barry award is:
"Jesus and the Teenager; How will your faith in Jesus and the Church guide you through your high school years and beyond?"
Please start each essay with the following statement:
“I believe that my faith in Jesus and the Church will help to guide me through my high school years and beyond because…..”
The report should be:

500 word minimum.

No more than 600 words.

Must be typed and double spaced, using a size 12 font.
Reports will be due no later than May 1st, 2008.
The winner will be announced at 8th grade graduation and receive the $500.00 scholarship prize.
