Saint Coleman's Mens Club

Each year, the Saint Coleman’s Men’s Club hosts its Annual “Walk On Water” Salt Water Fishing Tournament.  This local community event is open to the public, and all are welcome. 

This year's  Annual 2008 "Walk on Water" Fishing Tournament will be held on Saturday, July 26th, 2008. A Captain's meeting to review the rules, regulations, and submit entries will be held Friday evening, July 25th at the parish hall. Last year we had forty boats enter on a beautiful day for fishing, with over $10,000 in cash awards and prizes.  After a day out on the water, our anglers and their families enjoyed the Tournament Banquet, which was catered by CJ's Draft House in Deerfield Beach. The food was phenomenal, beverages were plentiful, and when it was all said and done we generated a donation check for $4,000.00 for The Special Olympics of Broward. 

We are always actively looking for sponsors to help offset the considerable expenses of this event, allowing the Men’s Club to exceed the last event's donation amount.  We welcome any donations, regardless of size, and encourage local businesses to provide any promotional products they may have available that could be used as prizes or raffle items.  In the past we’ve received everything from pens, caps, shirts, hats, to electronics, fishing gear, and even gift certificates for goods and/or services.
